The Process
Centered in a diverse college town, the KCPA has to appeal to a wide audience, and not come off as stuffy and exclusive. By leaning heavily into the brightness and life associated with spring, we can make the museum seem fun and approachable, stopping right before appearing as childish. The Krannert Center is both a nice, relaxed place to study, and a place you can bring your kids on a rainy Saturday.
This font pairing is a combination of museum sophistication and the playful boldness that remains after childhood in our imaginations.

This simple color palette has the brightness of spring, balanced by the deep green remnants of winter, all of which compliment the dark wood flooring and walls of the Krannert center.
